Yetunde and Tayo’s Traditional Wedding at the Lagos City Hall

It all started with an email from Yetunde…nine months before the event. She wanted to secure the date and her Photographer early enough (now, that’s my kind of Bride)! She wasn’t going to take any chances by waitng for a month to the day. After several emails and all the other “juicy details” had been sorted, it was now time to WAIT!

I always advocate that couples should meet their Photographer waaaaaaay before the wedding. That way, all parties involved can share ideas and get to know each other a lot better. In this case, that wasn’t going to happen! Tayo was not based in Nigeria and Yetunde was more often than not…out of the country too.

The day finally came, and with mixed feelings, the crew set out to meet the couple as they dressed up at different locations. On getting to Yetunde’s place, I must admit, I got one of the warmest and honouring receptions ever. Gosh! The whole family sure had buckets of love to share. The same thing happened at Tayo’s place. After a few chats, it was clear that we were on the same page and certainly going to have a great day. The photos tell of how it all went dooooown! lol!!

I must say, Banke Meshida-Lawal sure made my job a whooole lot easier with the super-duper make-up.

Kudos to Oaken Events for the fab decor.

Thank you so much Yetunde and Tayo for the honour…..
